Portfolio Director was created in the late 1990s by Bob Yacobucci. He realized there was a market for an affordable, professional-grade, portfolio management software for option traders and professional money managers. The Portfolio Director products were award-winning, but focused primarily on option trading.
In 1999, based on client demand, a new product was developed which included both option tracking and total portfolio management. Portfolio Director is focused on developing and supporting best-of-breed portfolio management desktop and Web-based solutions. Our clients include financial advisors, the single-seat investment manager and multi-user advisor offices.
