Portfolio Director DESKTOP Release Notes
Version 8.5 Software Enhancements
The 8.5 software enhancements pertain to the Option Symbology Initiative (OSI), specifically with support updates to Schwab Institutional and Pershing file imports. No other Portfolio Director functionality has been enhanced or modified in any way.
***Attention Schwab Institutional and Pershing Users***
Schwab Institutional—Portfolio Director now supports Schwab’s Portfolio Center file formats (SLB and SLT) and requests that these be the only file formats uploaded to Portfolio Director. The importing of Schwab’s traditional build, transaction and pricing files (BLD, TRN and PRI) should be discontinued.
Pershing—Portfolio Director now supports Pershing’s new ISCA file formats. For all Portfolio Director users who trade options on behalf of their clients, it is mandatory that the new ISCA file formats be uploaded to Portfolio Director. Pershing’s older DESC files will not support the new OSI.
